Lovely day at Delamere Forest C&CC site. 9° this afternoon, lovely walking trails in forest and around lake (part of it anyway).

Back to winter after a gorgeous day yesterday, light drizzle coming in from the north west,
Brief walk with Tag, had a good few walks yesterday.

My gauge is saying 6°c just now, the wind gas dropped from the strong gusts through last night but we still have rain. Workies turned up but one is the boss because another of his guys called in sick. I think they are all afraid of us scratch head

27degrees again and just a few clouds. Spent yesterday at Hog Island, now called Paradise Island and where Thunderball was filmed. Some seriously expensive superyachts there much like a mini Monaco.
Time to maybe move on to Cayman Islands to take a look Cuba is also a ferry ride away and always fancied going there.
Not looking for to returning to the British winter too much.

Chilly dry westerly wind, +3 ,feels colder, nice walk with Tag down the south promanard and back in for porridge.

Cheers Boaby - luckily I'm working from home today . It's supposed to be 5 degrees but it feels like -2 and it's very wet and windy. Don't think I'll be venturing out at all, at all....

Update - just put the bin out an hour and a half later and no wind, no rain and it feels quite pleasant out now, probably around the 5 or 6 degree mark.

Yes, 5°c and currently dry but that won't last long with a band of blustery rain on the way. Sounds like you're enjoying the sunshine GH up!

7 degrees and sunny, strong wind we had overnight now easing off.

As van can't go anywhere with battery disconnected and Airbag ECU away for repair will take the chance and snow foam it after lunch before giving it a good wash

Might be easier to get in than out GH!

If you’re entering Cuba as a tourist, you’ll need to get a tourist card before you travel. You can apply via the Cuban Embassy in London or check with your travel agent or tour operator.

7 degrees this morning, and to use Boaby's favourite word - Driech. Forecast not too promising either, not going to heat up much and will be dull all day.

Been raining most of the night but forecast to clear up by lunchtime. Could be a lot worse given we are in early February.

Any progress with your central heating repairs Tony? Dont remember seeing any updates recently, but may have missed it.

Now at 10°c here, bit brighter but we expect the rain to be on and off all day. Shopping day so I guess it's on with the coats and bunnets shrugg

Thanks for asking BB, we had a chunk of the system replaced with new radiators. They all work, but not necessarily at the same time. When we asked about "balancing" them we were told "that was old fashioned" scratch head

We're going to work with it for a week or so to see how it works out. I suspect major surgery may be called for think_smiley_46

Later walk with Tag this morning due to local rain showers earlier, milder with a westerly wind.
Lots of local road works along the north beach road in town, so if your visiting,bare this in mind.

A cold grey day here making walking down to the garage to pick up managements Fiesta not a nice walk. One saving being the wind has eased off.
You can tell we have had a couple of breezy days by the amount of rubbish in the hedge bottoms and the corners of the streets. Sadly street cleaners with a barrow seem to a thing of the past. so_sad

+8 degrees ,mild and dry westerly wind, perfect walking conditions with Tag, down to Sewerby greens along the north side and back in for a couple of rolls and bacon.

7°c here and dry now after overnight rain. Forecast is more showery rainuntil lunchtime when it should clear from the west. Guys coming to install two replacement D/G window units this morning., hopefully shrugg

Yesterday was Groundhog day and Punxsutawney Phil has predicted 6 more weeks of Winter, mind you his track record is not too good.
30 degrees in the Cayman Islands but a storm is brewing and thunder expected soon. Ocean went like a sheet of glass today saw a couple of rays swimming along in the shallows and a turtle popped his head up .Looks like the storm will be a big one.
Time to head home in a few days.
