Warwick duo 2017
Don't know how to upload an image to the site sorry.
What I am after is advice on how to remove the surround on the rear wind up roof vent to allow for adjustment of the sliders. Cannot see anything obvious and worried that something might go snap.

There's a few YouTube videos on Remis rooflights.

They just pop off but I must admit I was worried that something would break when removing mine. Thin/lightweight plastic and pretty solid ball/cup fixings.
I used my car trim removal tools and even with them I was worried about snapping something.

I did wonder the same Richard? Mine are very stiff so if that’s the reason I would be interested in a fix. To be honest it’s something I’ve been meaning to sort since I bought my van!

I have forgot how many times I have had to put the blind back into the runners when the vent is open and blind closed, then gust of wind or when door is closed it try's to escape out of the opening!

Richard, That sounds like the same issue I have. I was thinking that the tracks may be adjustable but looking at the YT video of the frame once removed, although a different model vent, I don't think they are.rgermain wrote:I have forgot how many times I have had to put the blind back into the runners when the vent is open and blind closed, then gust of wind or when door is closed it try's to escape out of the opening!

I have given a mighty pull but the frame doesn't want to let go.

There must be a way of adjusting as mine was done under warranty, although I suppose they could have swapped it with one from a different van in the showroom?

Or maybe like me sprayed the runners with a silicone lube, works wonders on all moving parts.Toffee wrote:There must be a way of adjusting as mine was done under warranty, although I suppose they could have swapped it with one from a different van in the showroom?

Re: Warwick duo 2017
The fault on mine was the runners were too wide and the blind would drop out of the track/guides and jam. Maybe a different fault to yours rgermain?
