Roof light vent broken Kemerton 2015
The wind up roof light broke whilst on holiday so we taped it down. Was secure for a good while but on about the 21st day the whole thing has blown off on the motorway. We are due back in England at the weekend. Anyone know how we can get a replacement or even something different but appropriate fitted?

I’d make contact with a dealer easy to access, perhaps near your departure or destination port, asap and see what they can do.

You don't say whether Remis or Heki but this thread may be useful...

In an emergency I'd tape polythene over it till you get home.
Even a plastic bag taped over it would work to keep the elements out.

Bad luck, your Kemerton is the same age as ours so most likely has the same Remis Vario 2 windup roof light. We waited almost a year to get a replacement dome through Leisureshopdirect and finally collected it from them in May.
If you have the opportunity while still in Europe and know what part(s) you need then you could try a Remis agent over there. At the link below is Remis’s spares book and details of who their agents are in various countries. Leisureshopdirect are one of the largest suppliers of Remis products in the UK but seemed to have little leverage in getting deliveries through from Remis. It may be different in the EU where the market is bigger. Remis is a German company who were uncommunicative for most of the time we were waiting. Based on our experience I felt Brexit was in large part to blame.
The Vario 2 is a 700x500mm roof light (that’s the size of hole cut in the roof) so at least there’s the alternative of fitting a Dometic Midi Heki if necessary. This product has the option of either a wind-up operation or a lever style handle which has fewer moving parts so is more resilient.
Maybe you’ll find that Remis has sorted out its supply problems and you don’t have long to wait. AS however are now fitting Dometic roof lights instead of Remis, so that be indicative that they too have had supply issues.
I think I’d start by messaging Leisureshopdirect first. They only communicate by email but are fairly responsive in our experience.
