Re: seat belts
Hi there,
Why ruin the best excuse!! "Sorry, we only have three seat-belts!"
Seriously, not an easy modification as I believe tested anchor points are required; plus it gets even more complicated if passengers are seated sideways!
Best regards,

Re: seat belts
Anchor points have to be able to contain the forces in an accident, but do not have to be tested. As said side facing seatbelts are a no-no.

Your profile shows you have a Harmony - I thought the Harmony had two rear front-facing seats with belts?

Re: seat belts
Even 4 birth Symphony's and Symbols only have 3 belted seats. If you want 4 then as said, you need the harmony, but lose out on space.

re Seat belts
There maybe anchor points on the chassis/bodywork as my 03 Marquis Dorset (AS Symbol) had 4 belts BUT the 4th belt was forward facing as the Dorset was in ES spec.
I daresay AS might be able to convert the settee to an ES spec but at a humungous ££££ !! Give Alan a call in AS spares and he'll point you in the right direction, even if he says NO.
As an aside does anybody know what the accident statistics are for passengers injured on inward facing seats (without belts) ??
Sometime ago I did have 6 in my Dorset with the kids in travel seats and 2 adults on the settee, Southampton to Bristol and back, nobody died fortunately. I wouldn't have the bottle to do the same now given the * Inappropriate Word * driving standards of those around us. Just a thought.
