Seat belts
Can anyone help me with a problem.
I have an Autosleeper Duetto 2003 with 3 seat belts fixed to the forward facing seats. Driver, plus two passengers.
What can I do so that I can carry my wife and two grandchildren plus the driver?

Re: Seat belts
When i needed to for adults i just used the side facing seats. However with children not so sure ,Its a risk you may not want to take. Is it a short journey?
How big are the children?
They could use the seat belts and your wife could sit behind you.

They're age 7 and 9.
Is it legal to travel in the side facing seats with no seat belt?

Yes , if your van is 2006 or earlier, I would say for an adult, I have travelled on a side facing seat.

Re: Seat belts
Facts show even with seat belt side facing seats cause more injury than forward or rear facing seats.
It might be legal for the age of your MH but is it worth, accidents can happen in a few yards after setting off, would your insurance be valid.

Re: Seat belts
I was insured on my Clubman to take 4 passengers on the side seats without seat belts, most I did take was one.
