Reversing camera
Apologies if this has been asked before, but has anyone rewired their reversing camera monitor so that it has a constant feed and, in effect, becomes a rear view camera? The camera/monitor are connected via Bluetooth so I’m guessing that there will be a constant signal from the camera which the screen only picks up when reverse is selected.

Re: Reversing camera
Have you tried the search function, BT? It works well, unlike the one in the other place. I know I have seen similar topics raised here.

Re: Reversing camera
Yes, I have.
I'm sure I've detailed it here somewhere.
I removed the wire from the reversing light bulb in the rear cluster and attached it to the side-light bulb instead (are they still called side lights?!)
Which means when I turn my headlights on, the reversing camera comes on too. Great for me, as it allows me to keep an eye on the mobility scooter mounted at the rear.

Re: Reversing camera
I'm assuming you have the same Garmin sat nav / Bluetooth camera arrangement that I do?
If you drive with your headlights on all the time, you can just exit the camera view and go back to the sat nav view. And on the screen of the map you'll see a camera icon that you can just tap while driving to quickly switch to the camera view.
Or, just turn your headlights on / off as and when needed
