Reversing camera reversing images

Thanks to everyone for sorting put my under seat storage problems, now to the next problem... This is my third van with reversing camera. On the other two you put it in reverse and got a picture of life behind the van. The Symbol camera is in the sat nav, so l put ot on reverse, lean over the dash with my foot trembling on the clutch, press a few buttons and hey presto! The picture appears on the screen but it's sort of reversed (where's the pun imogi?) lf l look in my wing mirror and there is a red car directly behind me, on the screen it appears on the left hand side. Even more alarming, if my passenger gets out and walks to the back of the van, she suddenly appears on the right hand side. Am l not pressing the correct buttons? Is the camera on upside down? Am l going to have to destroy a small forest and print out a manual? Help!

There will be a button somewhere to change it. Mine does this when l mess with the buttons. Camera is not upside down. Try pressing an arrow button. If you're worried about messing with sat nav google a manual for it. Last owner must have had cross eyes.
