Awning
Evening all,
I'm looking to get a small awning for our WXL. We only really need it for storing bits and bobs and perhaps a small table and couple of chairs. Question is, what's the smallest I can get which would be very easy to erect and which would also connect to the van which I guess would be in the vans awning slot?
Thanks for any suggestions.

Re: Awning
Before you get an answer it really is more of a matter of what type and budget you have to spend.
Do you actually need an awning if just for storing many people use a bike tent for just storing bits and pieces you mention, I for one,
Do you want a drive-away
Do you want inflatable or will the usually cheaper pole type suit
Smaller awning are often stated to be a 240.
Often you can find a good used awning
I have had many awning over the years firstly metal poles, then bendy poles, then blow up. Now I have a Lilypad which is very light and takes up hardly any room packed up.

Re: Awning
The Quest Screen House 4, PRO version has an attachment to vehicle option, but most users of these "very easy to pitch" seem to just use them as standalone. Some users pitch them under their wind out awnings.
They are very quick to set up but long to store/carry. The air beam type are quite bulky and heavy to carry (we used one with our previous camper van ).

We have just bought one of these from Decathlon:

Does not connect to van but at £99.99 quite a reasonable price and usually Decathlon own brand stuff is OK. Have obviously not tried it in anger yet but hoping it will do the job for us.
