Clear cool night, some coastal fret, great walk along Sewerby cliffs, lots of gulls out, watched the trawlers (small ones) heading out.

Re: Weather
It seems natural to curse wet conditions especially when away in the van, but then remind myself that if it never rained, the planet would die.

Re: Weather
We are at Bowness-on-Windermere. Arrived Saturday , nice dry journey, as soon as we arrived the rain started and never stopped then again all day yesterday. Took a chance for walk into town when it eased a little, soaked through within 20 minutes so back to van to get changed.Today misty, damp, drizzly. Walked to town and back ,only slightly damp this time.

We had our honeymoon in Keswick nearly 50 years ago and it rained for 5 days, when it stopped the fog came in. Anyone remember Hamish Imlech,he was playing in one of the pubs.Paulmold wrote:We are at Bowness-on-Windermere. Re: Weather
Some more rain overnight at Bowness and very warm night , misty grey start today, hardly got light yet. Leaving lakes today for Northumberland coast, may be better that side.
