Side door play
If I pull my sliding side door shut slowly I can feel a slight jumping of the centre rollers as it turns into the closed position in the stainless guide.May have always been so but not noticed. With the door half open,if I push/pull the door at the rear centre there is feelable play.would not have thought it's worn at 6 months old.
Question to p.v owners....how much play in your doors?

Re: Side door play
May have worded my post and made it sound more complicated than it need be. What i am trying to find out is ....If you grip the rear edge of side door in area of the centre roller and pull and push towards and away from the van have you any play?
Mine moves a couple of mm and may be normal, I am just trying to see if that is so.

Do you also get a bump in the stainless track as roller turns into the closed position?

Re: Side door play
I tried ours this evening. With the door half closed there’s about a 1cm play in the manner described by Kdc. It’s not something I’d noticed or considered before reading this thread. The door slides smoothly and is easier to close than on our previous vans, without the need to slam it hard. So in our case we have no concerns.

Re: Side door play
Kemerton-bath....Thanks for testing and results,1cm and alls fine.
That's more than mine so I may be a bit over cautious'especially as it bumps on turn in.The reason I am so cautious is my van went to Peugeot in its first week with door open and closeing issues and has been back 4 times since (post in Feb). They have done various adjustments and changed a cable. It is much improved but I feel it could be better.Their professional advice is that it's a commercial van and I should slam the door a bit harder, why did'nt I think of that?!!!!!
Anyway from what you imply they are all a bit different so I quess if it opens and closes what's the problem

Re: Side door play
I believe you can get electric closing side doors now on X250 vans, but maybe only on the Fiat versions, not Peugeot.
