Awning Rail fixing
Hello all!
We have been enjoying our Van over the past few months since we bought it. With our 18 month old son we decided a little extra room would be needed so bought an awning with the intention of it fitting the gutter rail. Unfortunately the rail isn't large enough so I have bought an awning rail. The rail we bought is this one - [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
The reason for the post is to ask if anyone else has fitted this type of rail and where?
I have two options - in the recess on the gutter (black part in below photo) or above the gutter on the fibreglass high-top section.

I have the Sikaflex and cleaner required and the rail cut to length - just need to decide where it's to go now!
Thanks in advance!

Re: Awning Rail fixing
When I had the Symphony I used a J rail to attach a sunshade. Similar principal to an awning rail. It was attached to the black surround. If you check out this thread and scroll down to my photo of the Symphony and zoom in, you will see it attached on the black surround.
