Sargent EC700control panel on Warwick XL 2019
Anybody got any ideas? I recd no Sargent manual with the vehicle, Sargent on line manual doesn't refer to this screen, Sargent technical help phone line is not answered and Sargent, so far, have not responded to my email asking for help. I wondered if other AS owners had mastered the screen?

Re: Sargent EC700control panel on Warwick XL 2019
Looks as though the heating/water heating programme has been added after the Sargent manual was written?
On a new vehicle, I would be straight on to the dealer that sold it to me. But I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for an answer!

Thanks Paulmold.
The manuals I have been reading are the ones that you attached but sadly they don't deal with the screen in question.
Roopert is probably right in thinking the heating screen is a subsequent addition to the software and is not as yet included in the manual.
Will continue to chase Sargent.

Your Dealer should give you one of these manuals that covers all EC700 and Truma functionality - its a very good manual.

Purdyhorse......I am a member of that club, told by dealer they hav'nt been give handbook for EC700 and that i could find info on line.(not good i know).I did download the info as paul has just posted and have now got my head around useing it. The exception being that the heating controls on the panel "beep and light" but dont do anything. As there is a seperate Truma control panel (on my van) alongside which does work the system i just took it that the main control panel was fitted with but not for.
The lack of information from AS is abysmal.
I hope all else is well with your new van and you can get on and enjoy it. K

Re: Sargent EC700control panel on Warwick XL 2019
Just had another thought. Its not the answer to your question but it could be that the heating control on the panel is linked into the i net set up.As i had no intention of useing it i have pulled the supply plug from the i net box.
When you get to the bottom of it please post the results as i am sure it will be of intrest to others, especially new owners who also dont get the information their outlay deserves!

Re: Sargent EC700control panel on Warwick XL 2019
Thanks to Peter Brown i have now found the answer to my question.
In essence, one should only use the Truma panel to control the habitation's heating system and one should ignore the screen on the EC700 panel that purports to control the heating and hot water system.
I gleaned this information from page 15 of the excellent Autosleeper Harmony User Instructional Manual, see Peter's post above, whereon, under the heading 'Heating Settings', Autosleepers state:
"The EC700 control panel can be used to set parameters for the Truma heating system (but it doesn't state how). However we advise using the Truma CP Plus digital display (p28) to set your on-board heating"
It would have been useful if Autosleepers had included the 'Harmony' booklet in the information pack that came with the vehicle.
I hope this information is of use to other owners and thank everyone, especially Peter, who have contributed to this topic.

Sargent EC700 control panel
Hi purdyhorse
I have today emailed Sargent for information on the self same controller on my new Nuevo.
My Autosleeper handbook does not cover the EC700 CP ver. No.33 which is installed.
It looks to me like they were experimenting with the software, adding heating control and Timed functions but its not yet working. There are four timer slots in which you can set On time, Temperature and Water On/Off. I can enter the information and save it by pressing the button that looks like a note pad, Timer3 does not show the information entered the other three do (a software glitch ?). The data entered in Timer3 is used (displayed) at the appropriate time but not acted upon. There is an overide setting which seems to operate also which forces heating On at a set temperature despite the timer settings.
I wonder if you have also noticed spelling mistakes in the level indicators, two of them read Solar Cqrrent and Mains Cqrrent, shoddy programming maybe, there is one other place where I have noticed a u is replaced by a q in a word in the display I cant remember where at the moment. Maybe in the future there wil be a software update and the controller is ready for it to be implemented. As you say the heating works fine using the Truma control. I can also remote control the heating via Bluetooth and the Truma Inet Box.
I can't remember what the dealers guy said at handover as I went to sleep at that moment thinking "you don't understand this, I will sort it out when I read the book" some hope
I am surprised that Sargent have not been forthcoming with information, on the surface they seem efficient, I should hear from the next week. Autosleepers should have included some guidance and explanation for sure.

EC700 Control Panel
I have heard from Sargent regarding the EC700 Control Panel but still no reply from Auto Sleeper. The only information Sargent have is of the version (Auto Trail) that is on the web. It seems that Auto Sleeper added Truma Inet control independently, also seemingly removing the dimming controls for the lighting and adding the non working timer settings for the heating.
Sargent suggested contacting the dealer for a software update, I have already spoken to them about that, quite honestly they have no idea about the system and I would not let them near it.
Out of interest and for the information of any more new users here is a picture of the Levels Screen.

The spelling / programming errors Mains Cqrrent and Solar Cqrrent should never have got past quality control.

The above is the Heating Settings screen, nothing on this screen actually controls the Truma heating. The parameters can be entered and stored, Timer3 settings, (I have set 7C and OFF) do not get displayed. The set levels take place at the appropriate time, at the time of the picture 20:18 Timer4 settings are displayed as Heater statqs : 8'C Water status : OFF. Note the q instead of u again and a (') instead of a degrees symbol, pretty shoddy stuff from Auto Sleeper.
As previously noted in this thread we just set the heating using the Truma control which can also be remotely controlled via the Truma Inet box.

I have no idea I couldn't find it.
I have produced an edited version of the Auto Trail one which is on line.
Mine has the screen shots from my EC700, new AS version details added and the non applicable parts edited out, I think it is now a comprehensive instruction guide for the AS version.
PM me and I will send you the PDF.
