Fairford - external gas tap
Hi all,
First post, so thank you for the add.
We've just bought a lovely 2017 Fairford and I want to use our Cadac Grillogas on the external LPG gas connector that's at the rear of the van, but it's previously been used with a gas bottle, so I have a miss match of connectors.
Does anyone know if it will work on an external LPG gas supply (as opposed to a butane/propane bottle) and, if so, what connector/regulator do I need?
Pic attached to help explain my problem :-)
Thanks,
Dom.

Thanks Paul. Does it not need some sort of regulator?

Re: Fairford - external gas tap
Isn't it regulated at the storage tank like all the other supplies?

No, it is already regulated via the underslung tank system.

I can confirm that this connector, fitted to your cadac's hose instead of the regulator which you currently have fitted as in your earlier picture is exactly what you need. We use our BBQ outlet all the time for our cadac as do many others, it is a regulated outlet, designed for that very purpose. I just hope that the weather is kind, as usually the very mention of BBQ results in an instant downpour...
