Toilet level light not working
Hi all, just had a great weekend away stayed for free in 2 pub car parks (with the landlords permission ) in our 14 plate kemerton but on our return I noted the cassette was pretty full but the level light was not working, now I have emptied the cassette it sounds like the float is loose in the cassette, anyone help please, I dont wont the cassette to over fill (Phew !!!)
Thanks in advance.

Re: Toilet level light not working
Can't recall any mention re instruction not to be shaken with gusto that is most likely to dislodge the float arm which holds the tiny magnet that makes contact to operate the near full light. This indicates you have just two litres capacity left. YouTube shows how to service the cassette but dependent on the model as to gain access inside to effect such a repair. Of course regular emptying (not waiting for light) means you're not getting white knuckles or possible back injury carrying too much weight.

Re: Toilet level light not working
If nothing has actually dropped out of the cassette I'd just replace it in the compartment and fill it up with water and see if the light comes on before it overflows. It really is high before the light comes on, as I've found out..
The good book says 5 'uses' left when the light comes on, but the word 'uses' is open to interpretation...

Sorry if I'm asking the bleeding obvious but have you checked/replaced the batteries?

Re: Toilet level light not working
If it's a similar set up to mine the light is powered from the leisure battery via a fuse in the cassette compartment, worth checking that.

If you have the Thetford C402C like my 2017 Warwick then the red light only comes on when 2 litres from completely full (they say 3 uses).Arry 32 wrote:Hi all, just had a great weekend away stayed for free in 2 pub car parks (with the landlords permission ) in our 14 plate kemerton but on our return I noted the cassette was pretty full but the level light was not working
Thats 17L full in a tank with a total capacity of 19L, you may be expecting it to come on earlier as that is more than "pretty full".
It's going to be pretty heavy at the 17L stage, maybe 17 KG (38lbs)
Come to think of it, I need to check my red light works, I never normally let it get that full.
