Lidle wasnt too bad considering we were on the windy side. It was one in one out, or two in my case with management. The shopping took longer than the waiting because the automatic till wouldnt scan every second item. The staff were not amused.

British summertime ,back to winter I think, gales, sleet, not dog walking weather.
Stay healthy.

Blue sky, few white fluffy clouds, bit cooler than of late, not particularly windy here.
Remembered to put clocks forward, that's one hour less of sitting on the sofa watching daytime TV.

Still mostly bright and sunny in SW Cornwall today, quite a strong cool breeze though, a morning to wrap up warm having spent the last two days in stubbies and T shirt! ( No thongs Al hugegrins )

Less than an hour later, completely clouded over and blowing a gale now.

Very windy here too but still sunny. We have a 6 foot tall camellia in the garden, in a full size half barrel. It’s not been affected by the gales this winter but we’ve had to go out and ballast it this morning when it blew over.

Heavy coastal rain showers all night, still persisting this morning, turned into a really dreich morning.
Very short dog walk.

Be thankful for the rain. With all this extra hand-washing and disinfection going on we really do not need a drought as well.

Dry and overcast here but glimpses of sun and much less windy than yesterday.

Our neighbour's opposite have a matching pair of faux spiral box 'plants' in faux lead planters outside their front door. I don't know how they're fixed in the pots, but it's certainly not very securely. You can tell which way the wind is blowing as they slide over away from the wind. This morning they are tilted at about 45 degrees towards the south. When there's a real gale they often end up at 90 degrees to the pot. Hardly upright door guardians.

Glorious bright spring morning up here. Our garden is a bit of a sun trap so our gardener ( who doubles as my wife  Whistle1) is out filling bags with stuff that we can't get rid of  shrugg

Glorious morning in SW Cornwall, up early to open the gates as expecting a courier up to 'hog castle, woodpecker tapping away and a flock of about 10 geese flew overhead honking loudly ( guess geese honk?)! Great day to be alive, at home of course and loads to do.
So lucky with the weather at the moment, adopted the island life style, up early work in the morning then siesta in the afternoon and back to work in the evening.
Even getting an air show with the buzzards and jackdaws(?) having dog fights in the sky above us. I think they are jackdaws anyway, but someone here may know better!

We've been promised warm sunshine tomorrow so the BBQ has been cleaned and there are a few beers in the fridge in readiness. If it turns out dull, the beers are getting it anyway  happyyes
