Just back from Falmouth, a few people on the beach, mild and a gentle wind, perfect sailing weather and hardly anyone about.

Sewerby woods and gardens busy this morning,not many in the clock cafe however.

Cool north East wind coming of the sea,forecast dry until mid morning.Mavis and the Blackies belting out their tunes in competition with one another.

I must admit that I’m usually up to late ..... However this morning I sat in the summer house with a cup of tea and the doors open. What a wonderful melody of different tunes, whistles and chirps etc.

All the birds are in self hibernation down here today, overcast and blowing an ENE force 6 to 8.
In local waters as every sailor knows if there is an E in the forecast you don't venture out unless you have to.

Lovely here. Hazy sunshine but enough wind to keep the red kites wheeling and mewling above us. Mild enough to have doors and windows open too on the sunny side of the house. Solar panels generating wnough to run dishwasher !

If there's an E in the forecast round here, you don't venture out cos you can hear the M6 in the distance. 

If there's a W in the forecast you can hear the West Coast Mainline in the distance.

More dog walkers out at 5 this morning, rare sight, dawn chorus still in full swing .

Business as usual for the seaside kiosks down here over the weekend Paul, beaches full of tourists , even coach tours parked up here.     .
Amusement arcades full of people ignoring advice of social distancing , this is coming from our local news, I haven't been out other than walk Tag before dawn .

Lovely here too. All the geranium cuttings and tender plants have been brought out of winter cover and are enjoying - I hope- the sunshine. They'll have to go back tonight which is going to be cold.

Just done a bit of gardening, but even though it's sunny  it felt cold. Then I went out to the van to relieve it of any tins of food etc that might come in handy indoors. Toasty warm in there, could've been mid summer. Came out with tins of baked beans, kidney beans, chopped toms, cling film, vinegar in a plastic table poured, tomato paste and some cooking oil. I decided to leave the three Thetford toilet rolls in situ.

Just painted a couple of new fence panels, only another 9 to re-do. Don't want to do all at once, need to spread it out so something to do each day. Our council has just suspended all garden waste collection, great when we are told to get out in the gardens for fresh air.

I've just cut the lawn again and I've told nuevogirl I can't paint the fence as Wilko's had sold out of brushes. 
However, I've got to cut and lay over 70 block pavers around one of our flower beds, so the forecast good weather will mean my knees will be taking  hammering over the next few days.

Ooooh too late for me, but don't leave gravy cubes in the van over winter. They'd gone all mushy and several had burst, leaving a brown, sticky residue. Ugh!

Not unlike the half cucumber that we left wedged into the bottom of the V shaped veg drawer then.

Clear chilly morning here,light frost and breezy, will start my DIY chores when the weather warms , lots to do and plenty of time to do it in.

Another clear sunny day here, forecast of a high of 17 degrees today.

Pleasant clear and sunny start here with a cool breeze. Won't last though as rain in moving down from the north. Think I'll stay in today 

Beautiful dawn ,dry, no wind, birds singing, hardly a car on the road.
Started to clean of our brick boundary wall ready for the white masonry paint yesterday.
Hopefully carry on.
