Dometic 3 Way Fridge on Nuevo ES not chilling
On our Easter trip we noticed that our fridge was not reaching low enough temperature on gas. The fridge was chilling better on mains electric. I have tried removing flue and cleaning with a pipe cleaner. We have a nice blue flame but the top part of the pipe work is not getting as hot as when on electric. At the moment I am running the fridge without protective cowling shield refitted, would this make any difference?
I understand that removing and turning upside down is a possible solution. Removing the fridge looks quite difficult as it seems to be silicone sealed and secretly bolted in.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The "turning it upside down" technique generally only applies if the cooling is inadequate on all three power sources - the internal fluid/vapour flow is exactly the same for all of them. So I would only try that as an act of desperation! As you say, getting the fridge out of any A/S is going to be a pain, more or less.
During your Easter trip, were you camped entirely on the level? One issue with running on gas is that it relies on the hot air from the flame rising up past a heat exchanger, and this gets less efficient if you are out of level. There is no such effect with the two electric elements, as they don't rely on convection.

We used levelling ramps at Easter, the van has been parked on the drive which is quite level to test on gas. I had it on yesterday evening on mains power, highest setting, it managed to freeze a bottle of water. Today it seems to be around 6 degrees, the pipework is very hot.

Four screws, seven electrical wires and removal of silicon seal enabled the fridge to be slid out of position quite easily. After a night upside down said fridge is now chilling quite well on maximum mains although the top pipes are not getting hot. I have turned it upside down again and plan to give the pipes some gentle rubber mallet persuasion tomorrow along with cleaning of flue and gas jet. Happy camping!!!!

I have not yet reconnected the gas. The fridge is still out, I plan to give the area it lives a good clean before replacing and testing once more. I was going to apply some jointing compound and leak sealer (LS-X) to gas pipes.
