When I put my fridge on to gas the peizo clicks to light the gas then doesn't stop clicking and then the gas cuts out.
Has anybody any ideas where the problem is? It Is fine on 12v and mains.

Thanks

It could be soot on the burner or debris on or around the burner, or the burner could even be blocked. If you remove the bottom fridge vent and gain access to the burner you can try vacuuming it clean if not you would have to remove it and unblock the jet.

The piezo on my fridge occasionally plays up and carries on sparking after the flame is lit. There's a thread about it somewhere. At first I thought the gas wasn't lighting, but looking down the viewing hole I can see it is. I usually just flick the switch off, it has no effect on the gas staying lit.
On our last holiday this happened about 4 times, which happened to be when the van was not exactly level side to side, fore and aft is not a problem.

Just to let you know, it was the igniter box which controls the ignition of the gas burner. Not cheap. £101.00 luckily I could get to it through the bottom vent.
