Kitchen window -
Hi Just back from 4 nights on Suffolk coast - rarely open the kitchen window, when we did last year found it difficult to shut. Now could not open.
Metal stay seemed jammed and would not slide down. Did not want to use too much force.
Any ideas?
John

A squirt of WD-40 and leave it to soak in?

Not as simple as WD40, not sure why this window stay is different to the two above the seating area.

Solved - problem was a sticking window to the surround, gradually eased off with flat bladed screwdriver and then cleaned the window and surround. Was a godsend in the heat while away for 3 weeks.

When my caravan windows used to stick to the rubber seals in the heat, I used to rub a little bit of French chalk dust (bicycle puncture repair kits) across the faces and it solved the issue.
