Symbol sink touch-up

Hi, and sorry for posting 2 questions in one day !

Has anyone experience of touching-up a chip in the enamel on a kitchen sink ?

Do you mean a house sink, if so yes, we have an original Belfast sink with the porcelain drainer incorporated into it, there was a small chip near  the edge if the drainer, bought a porcelain / enamel repairer, it is only a tiny bottle with a brush inside and it filled the  chip.  Hope this is of some help.

I meant the sink in our Symbol, it is a green enamel sink/drainer.
What was the brand of your repair kit and how has it performed ?

Sorry about that, should still work if you could get green, I have the white,on the bottle it has,

Has worked very well, even used it on the old washing machine.

Hi, I have just purchased an X reg Symbol which has the green sink and chip at the bottom, I lightly sanded the chip and its edges, then flooded the chip with araldite which self levelled. It should be OK.
