Location of fuse for Veba camera
We have a 2014 Warwick Duo and last week the Veba reversing camera display stopped working. The screen is blank (not blue) and I would like to check that the fuse has not blown as a first step to getting the thing working again.
Can anyone please let me know where the fuse is located

There should be a connecting block between wiring for mirror monitor and wiring for camera beneath the drivers side, drivers door step floor cover.
I think the fuse is there.

The camera feed is taken from the same fuse in the EM50 as the 12v for the fridge. If the fridge is working than that fuse is ok.
The power supply and cable interface is located as marbarsymbol describes.

Re: Location of fuse for Veba camera
Thanks for the info. I have found the connectors on the driver's side and they seem OK. The fridge is working on both mains and gas, so I suppose that means the fuse is also OK (I am assuming that Peter means the 12 volt for fridge operation and not the 12 volt to run the fridge heating element whilst driving?).
I will have to have another think.

No, I do mean the 12v for the fridge heating element when driving.

veba camera
If you look on this and other forums the Veba is a poor quality camera.
From experience these cameras are not robust enough for the task, I am on mirror screen number 2. £50.00 off ebay just change the screen disconnect from behind the front upper headlining at the right of the screen.
I hope for you it is the fuse, it's a lot cheaper.

Leupold, how did you test the screen before ordering a replacement? It is an expensive gamble to buy another and then find out that was not the fault.

There are two video channels and the monitor can be switched between them with the remote control. You can access the connectors in the footwell and sop the camera to the second input. A lot of digital cameras have a 'video out' and that can be connected to the video in connectors in turn.

Because the video lines are also used for transmitting power, you may get a 'noisy' picture when connecting a self powered camera but it would be enough to see if the monitor can display a picture or not.

Re: Location of fuse for Veba camera
Had similar issue on the Kemerton it turned out to be the camera that had failed.
Purchased a new one from DRW Electronics, CAM-14 £29.99. (CAM-14@cameras.drwelectronics.com)
Accessed the camera fixing by removing the high level stop light and the head lining around the doors.
I cut the cable from the old camera and removed it, cut the cable on the new camera and fitted it, then connected the cables using connectors and all worked fine.
Bit fiddly accessing the fixing nut to the rear of the camera and used a long box spanner slid over the cut cables to undo and tighten. Be careful not to over tighten the nut as the hollow bolt is only plastic.
Hope this helps and good luck.

Re: Location of fuse for Veba camera
Thanks to all for the suggestions. I have been told elsewhere that a faulty camera could be the culprit, so this is something to try (the camera was changed under warranty when it went wobbly)
