Unfortunately all too often we don't get to hear the outcome.

Re: Water loss on kingham
this one is such a compeling mystery where could water be coming from if it's not the tank or the boiler. Seems we will never know

Members who have tried to help often don't get any thanks either, which is a bit irritating to say the least!Paulmold wrote:Unfortunately all too often we don't get to hear the outcome.

If the OP is full timing, he may not always have easy internet access.
I know that when I need to use my phone for Internet while I'm away, I tend keep it to an absolute minimum.

Reminds me of that Monty Python sketch.... What have (Moderators) ever done for us ?
You're all very much appreciated, even if some folk sometimes forget their manners

I wasn't referring to the Mods Ken - it wasn't a royal "we".
I was including everyone on here who takes the trouble to offer help and suggestions. Most recipients do say thanks, but it is annoying when some just bu$$er off and say nothing when they have got what they wanted!

No probs Dave, but it does show how easily we can misinterpret someone's words when we're not face to face with each other.

sylvester1954 wrote:Whenever I refill the fresh water tank l start to get drips when it is full and as bolero boy suggested the readings on Sargent are sooo irregular one almost gives up on the accuracy ie waste tank remains in the red/full when empty.
I had the same readings on the waste tank. Just got back from my habitation service and the technician at Dolphin said I can fix that. Well it seems he did as the reading is now empty, he flushed the waste tank via the sink with thetford tank clean. He said you need to get rid of the build up of slime etc at least twice a year from around the sensors.
Well it worked for me, so at the moment I am happy.

Re: Water loss on kingham
It seems that nobody on the forum has anything like this on their van or anyone who owns a A/S model of any sort. And if this drain pipe is coming out from the freshwater tank and it comes out from the bottom of the tank, then the tank would never fill or hold any water at all, ever - it would be like have a permanent hole in the bottom of the tank. I tend to think that someones having a laugh here. And as some have said, no thank you's whatever.
