Fixing Surfboard J bars Empty Fixing Surfboard J bars

Post by davecook Mon Jan 29, 2018 11:30 am

Hi, we have just purchased our first Auto-sleeper Symphony after many years of DIY vans and are just getting our heads round how everything works!! Does anyone here know or has fitted side mounted surfboard rack to the drivers side of the van above the windows. I have fitted some myself to other vans but not to anything as high tech as the Symphony. Any information would be gratefully received.
Many Thanks

A similar question has been asked recently about a similar roof on a different van:

A/S do fit one heavy option to the side of the that type of roof - the Fiamma awnings weigh over 20 kilos and they are attached to the side of various A/S high-tops. However, they are very low down on the side and, if the one on my Flair was anything to go by, A/S fitted reinforcement inside the roof, behind the roof side panels.
