Blown air heater Empty Blown air heater

Post by Tandem Thu Dec 21, 2017 5:39 pm

Hi all,lm a new member, we have a Symbol Boxer van, went to a site last weekend, zero outside, after hookup and ketle on realised Whale heater fan working but no electric heat. Checked all fuses and for lockout all ok. As i had forgotten the small fan heater we have, we ran the heater on gas which was fine. On investigation ,fuses etc are ok and there is power into the unit. So presumably this only leaves the electric elements or the circuit board. Any thoughts?

Agreed - it seems reasonable. In order of probability I'd look at element, then switch, then PCB - but it will probably turn out to be something else!

Sorry, I don't know, but the general trend for many years has been to make things impossible to "service". It still doesn't stop those of us that are determined, though!
