Fitting a tv in my symbol

Hi, wondering if the drop down tv shelf would take the weight of my 16" Avtek tv as they're quite heavy compared to other combo TVs?

The drop down shelves were designed for old fashioned CRT TVs ( not in travel mode) so should cope with any LCD/TFT screen.

As Crosgor said. My old Rambler GL circa 1994 (was an Extral on the Rambler) and Symbol '99 was fitted with the drop down TV service point and Panasonic made the TV that fitted perfectly. If anyone wants it I still have it! Remote and all. (The TV not the Rambler)
