Fitting Reversing Camera to Symbol Empty Fitting Reversing Camera to Symbol

Has anyone fitted a reversing camera to an old year 2000 Symbol?

I was thinking of fitting one now that I've started carrying stuff on the bike rack as it blocks the view out of the rear window.

Presumably, I will need to mount the camera on the high top, angle it down and hope that the back box and fold-up chairs on the bike don't obscure the view?

As for routing the cable. Is it possible to do this invisibly?

Thanks

Hi Chris
On my 2009 Symbol I ran the cable behind the woodwork to the offside top corner and then vertically down and outside in the corner. The wire ran cable-tied to the chassis forward and came up through the drivers side footwell to connect up to the electrics.
I used one of those systems which had 2 cameras....one looked down at the bikes while the other looked back down the road. The monitor was switchable between the two.
Good luck
