Reversing camera wiring. Empty Reversing camera wiring.

Does anyone know how the cable is routed from the camera to the drivers foot well in a 2013 Symphony. I have to fit a new camera so it would be helpful before i start stripping out the interior.

Reversing camera wiring. Empty Camera wiring

Post by Weymouth John Tue Jul 04, 2017 3:50 pm

I mounted the camera in the centre above the rear doors and took the wiring internally across to the top offside corner hidden by the lining. I then dropped it vertically down to outside the van through an existing hole in the body. All this hidden behind the lining. From that back offside corner I tried to run it inside the van but couldn't easily get it past the bulkhead behind the drivers seat so I gave up and ran it outside the van, cable tied to the chassis. The wire then came back in at the drivers door step, wiggled up (hidden) behind the dash and then to the camera which I have mounted centrally on the dash.
Good luck!
