Reversing Camera
I know a lot of you have got the "VEBA 7" Mirror Monitor" fitted with remote control.
I have the so called manuel but not much help on this.
I want my camera to come on when I select reverse, and not like it is at the moment.ie: Either switched on or switched off!
Has anyone got any idea how I can change this please?

Re: Reversing Camera
The easyest way to do this is wire to the reversing light so when reverse is selected it powers on

Re: Reversing Camera
I thought it was already wired to reverse switching, but just needed to be selected via the remote, somehow!!,

Re: Reversing Camera
If the cameras powers on when you have not selected reverse it’s not wired to the reverse lights

Re: Reversing Camera
Normal wiring for the Veba is powered on when put into reverse gear. The power button on the remote powers the screen on for forward gears.
It is said that if left in reverse (screen on) then switch ignition off, the screen will then stay on for forward gear next time engine started, but it doesn't work for mine.

If the camera is off when reverse gear is selected, it stays off!! Do you think mine is wired wrongly?

I believe there are 2 power feeds, one ignition on/reverse gear select (green), and one ignition on (red). The remote "on" controls the Ignition on feed, the reverse feed then disconnected (probably).
I think there are inline fuses (under the cab headlining), maybe the reverse feed one blown?
