rocker switch under writing pad
I've just noticed that there is a rocker switch on the back frame( windscreen side) of the pop up writing pad in the cab of my 2003 Symbol which is visible when the pad is in the raised position. I don't think it is anything added by Auto- Sleepers as it looks like an original switch fitted to the Peugeot Boxer. There is no reference to this switch in the vehicle handbook - anyone got any idea what it' s for? If nobody knows I'll post the question on the Peugeot forum but they are not as quick to give answers over there!

Hmm, thats interesting Paul. It doesn't look retro fitted. I'm now intrigued. I just hope its not a self destruct switch!!!

Perhaps it's some form of cut off security device. Have you tried to start the van with switch in either position? Or is it a switch for a fake alarm flasher.

No, Ive tested it in both positions and doesn't seem to affect the starting or engine running. I don't think it controls a fake alarm flasher as I have a Sigma alarm fitted with its own flasher.
