Folding Writing Table
Does anyone know where I can get a Sat Nav Holder type to replacer the original table on the dash?
I have seen talk of one on here and video of one fitted but I can't find one anywhere, including ebay!

Re: Folding Writing Table
I replaced the clipboard on ours as the original did not flip up. I found the alternative OEM version that does, from an eBay seller, possibly Partsworld-uk if I recall. Its Peugeot/Fiat part no. is 0735653789 and it has the opening and closing jaws that hold a phone or tablet when in the up position.
Fitting the new clipboard was straightforward once I'd viewed the Youtube video linked below. It took 10 minutes to make the change. There were no airbag canisters or other related components underneath, just the single-DIN slot radio - which has to be removed to swap over the two versions of clipboard.
Regarding airbag components, there’s a lot of online speculation that having a fixed clipboard automatically indicates the presence of an airbag underneath. I would think that’s only true if the vehicle originally had a middle seat in the cab. In my case I suspect it was penny-pinching by Peugeot to fit a fixed version!

Re: Folding Writing Table
Thanks Tim.
I have managed to locate a few on the web, and the cheapest was about £130, Seems
a bit dear to me, so maybe I'll wait a while. The wife has pointed out that we have same
more important things to spend our money on first like a couple of new tyres for the back!!

Re: Folding Writing Table
is it primarily for a satnav?
i have a the folding clipboard holder but have never found a use for it....its way too big for just mounting a satnav...
although i have a flash model built in to my head unit, i prefer my own TomTom with all my POI files on it.
for a normal satnav (not a tablet sized unit) there seem to be loads of different styles of holder available cheaply.
i have a weighted holder with a flat round plastic plate at its base inside it, the satnav just uses a sucker to clip directly onto this.
its mounted to the lower offside of the dash and is not in the way but easily viewable.
good luck....get the new tyres instead
