Hi

Can anyone tell me if you can have two single beds in a Topaz, instead of the large double ?.

Yes you can, although they are on the narrow side, not that comfortable, I found when I had my Topaz, hence I changed to a Clubman.

The two single bed set up is not at all comfortable due to the narrowness of the beds, my arm kept falling off the bed in the night. But why bother? We always make ours up as a double minus the  filler cushion between the front seats which takes up too much storage space. We can still get out of bed without disturbing the other person, which is more than can be said of some much bigger motorhomes.

Hi Mayfield

Thank you for that link, lots of info to digest.

Do I take it from the info that both seats turn 180 to make the beds up.

I notice also that you have the 2.4 engine what do you think of it. Once again thank you and the others who responded to my queries.

Cheers

Yes you turn the seats to make the bed/beds.

Can`t speak of the 2.4 ,I had the 2.5tdi it was brilliant, very economical, late 30`s early 40`s mpg, that is why I stayed with that engine when I change motorhomes.
Regards,
Margaret

The 2.4 is fairly slow but plods along with good reliability. The 2.5TDI is more complicated so costs more to service etc but its a great engine with good economy and quite nippy. Worth the extra cost in my opinion.

The 2.4 engine has good reliability and easy to service, Mine will plod Along all day at 60 - 70 mph. It does lack power on hills but I average about 38 mpg so I'm happy with that.
