Wipers park in centre of screen

How do I rectify the wipers park in centre of screen?

Hi, probably the contacts inside the wiper motor,i had the same problem, i took the motor out opened it up and cleaned the contact strips, i seem to remember there are 3 circular copper strips, one for wiper delay one for fast speed and one for wiper park, i think the problem is caused by water getting into the motor.
This was on a 1997 peugeot so im not sure if yours will be the same.

Thanks for your time.  Went to a commercial van breaker's - thought he had a second hand wiper motor but found he had not - said there's a guy round the corner, a vehicle electrician who planned to dismantle my faulty motor.  When I returned, he said no need to dismantle after all, simply disconnect linkages, turn motor to park position, reconnect and cured the problem - he said he could not figure out what caused the problem in the first place - he charged £30, which I considered quite reasonable as he could have charged labour plus a new motor, which would have been considerably more.
