Whale water pump
Set up on site yesterday all neat tidy and level.. Only to remember I had forgot to fill the water tank
No bother thinks I will get some in a clean bucket and use the siphon pump thing
It was whirring round but would not draw any water into the tank,
Where did I go wrong ??
Cheers

Re: Whale water pump
Hi Charlie
Just a guess, but you may have plugged it into the side of the van before dropping the pump end into the bucket. That may have prevented it from priming.
I would think if you drop the pump in the water first it may work.
(Dare I mention watering cans at this point!! )

Make sure the flap above the plug is pulled down if appropriate.

Re: Whale water pump
The habitation electrics need to be switched on for the whale solenoid inside the fill point to open and allow water to pass.

Re: Whale water pump
This is the second thread with Autosleeper owners having problems with the Whale system. Why did Autosleeper fit them when there was nothing wrong with the old fashioned filing system that you could fill with a watering can and a submersible pump?
