2000 Symphony rain water in Gearbox
Rain water from the windscreen runs down into troth, then into a rubber pipe which pours onto the top of the gearbox and in through the Gearbox vent. The Peugeot modification (A new longer pipe) cost under £20. Symptoms, Speedo packs in, Gearbox seizes up or gears go - Very Expensive to replace. Why Peugeot did not do a recall beats me. This may have come up in previous forum threads, I have just joined and have not done a thorough search.
