Hint - to use a smilie, leave a couple of spaces after your last word, like this

Re: water leak
Hi Yes there is
at least on my 2012 Duo
open the window, look for the square recess at the front of the channel.
scrape around the outer edge of the bottom of the recess with a pointy object, I used a small zip tie.
The drain is a thin slot in the edge rather than a round hole. It connects to a thin flat rubbery tube under the window frame
hope this helps

Re: water leak
Hi there,
I'm not aware of a sliding window that doesn't have a drain; but they are often cunningly disguised and easily blocked!
They are usually rectangular in shape and at the very end of the outer channel.
On some models it is possible to close the windows in two positions (i.e. the outer glass can be "forward" or "aft") ....
.... BUT the channel will only drain in one position.
It's not easy to describe; but "seek and ye shall find" probably applies so I hope this helps.
Best regards,

Re: water leak
Two points occur to me after reading these exchanges. First, it's all meaningless if we don't know which base vehicle is being discussed. Have I missed something here ! Second, it might be more profitable to focus on preventing the water from getting in rather than discussing drainage after it has happened ! If it's a T5, I could offer some suggestions.

It doesn't show that on the mini-profile shown on the left of his postings. It simply says Autosleeper. We shouldn't have to click on a posters profile to find out. I don't know why on the profile it has two lines, one for Make and one for Model when that doesn't show on the mini-profile, perhaps something for Admin to alter.

Er .... not really.KMRTOPAZ wrote:........... First, it's all meaningless if we don't know which base vehicle is being discussed. Have I missed something here ! As I pointed out ....
I'm not aware of a sliding window that doesn't have a drain; but they are often cunningly disguised and easily blocked!
If drain holes are present and blocked then this would result in water ingress whereas if there aren't any drains then we are looking at a different situation regardless of the model to which it is fitted.
In the case of no drains I would recommend some judicious drilling of holes as indicated by the model of window and the installation; again not really relevant to the model into which it is fitted.
Best regards,
