Thanks, Boaby. Pretty conclusive.

Re: Siver insulation screens: inside or outside?
An afterthought (but before buying): The Peugeot pre-2015 models have two intake grills cut in near the top of the bonnet. Thus, as Boaby rightly says, the Taylormade extended external screens are ideal, because they will cover not only the bottom of the windscreen but also those intake grills.
However, from the photos which I've managed to find on the web (which, of course, isn't as conclusive as actually looking at the vehicle) the 2015 model Peugeot does not have those grills at the top of the bonnet. Can anyone please confirm that?
If it's correct, then a standard length cover will suffice (saving space and cost). And both SS and TM make them.
What a palaver! Can anyone please confirm that the 2015 model has no grill / vent?

AS website pics don't show grills. http://www.auto-sleepers.com/coachbuilt/peugeot
But are they actually using 2015 chassis? yet. My 2011 Merc chassis was built in 2010

Congratulations on your new van. Would definitely recommend you put them on now, we use ours throughout the year when the van is parked at home.
Recently bought the TM bonnet cover to keep out pine needles and leaves which blocked the drainage holes leading to build up of water.
Fitted that first then the SS over the top so the water now runs off.

Why not use it through the winter ? I would have to, if only to try it out, screens could go on, doesn`t take long to remove if going out.

Re: Siver insulation screens: inside or outside?
I use the van two or three times a week when we are not at home and it is parked face in to the house so the windscreen is not exposed. Whenever we are at home I keep all window and roof light blinds closed to save upholstery and curtains from exposure, heat out in the summer and in in the winter. When I use the little oil filled heater as now I pull the concertina blinds across the windscreen. If I didn't use the van I would put the silver screens on but I firmly believe in 'use it or lose it' with respect to the base vehicle part of the van.
