Removing the bike rack Warwick Duo
I'm trying to remove the bike rack on rear door of Warwick Duo 2009 to clear the rust which is appearing on the bike rack fixing brackets.
On each end of the rails there are plastic covers and would appreciate someone telling me how to remove these.
Thanks. Vernon

You just knock them off with something like a rubber mallet...

That was not a very good answer try again. The plastic end is moulded to fit the alloy rail extrusion and gets gunged up and stuck. You just tap them out a bit at a time.

Hello
Just thought I'd comment on the same issue that is 'rusted fixing brackets' unsightly! I am going to take mine off shortly and take them to my local steel gate manufacturer: they will shot blast and galvanise dip them this will hopefully cure the problem.
Happy motoring
Alan
