Duetto heater roastng the cook!
Our Duetto is 2004 and seems to have only one 'blown' air vent. This is very close to and points directly at the feet of the cook, effectively roasting them alive whilst anyone in the cab shivers! Do others have the same problem? If so, does anyone have any ideas of improvements we can make?
Thanks, Bev

Hi there,
Have you looked inside the blower pipe?
In ours there is a small plate inside the outlet of the pipe. It can be rotated and angled to blow the air anywhere we like.
Hope this helps.
Best regards,
Ian

Re: Duetto heater roastng the cook!
A 2004 Duetto will be on a MK 6 Transit and have a diesel heater with about 2.2 kW output and yes it really can roast the ankles! As Dutto says there should be a moveable flap to deflect the output hot air to one side or the other, check that you have this fitted, if not, the solution is fairly obvious. Note that this flap can rotate through 360 degrees and so can aim the hot air in any direction and yes there is only one heat outlet, any other vents are to allow cold air into the heater space.

Duetto heater roasting the cook...
Hi there
Thanks so much for the info - I hadn't realised the outlet rotated (doh!). It certainly makes a difference when pointing away from the kitchen area.
This the first time I have posted anything on this forum and I am very impressed - thanks a lot!
