Plastic trim Empty Plastic trim

Post by tomjoad Sun Mar 16, 2014 10:27 am

I am steaming ! We went to the motor home show at Exeter on Saturday, 200 mile round trip, and as I opened the sliding door on arrival I felt it stick slightly, so then closed it to have a look. The panel on the inside of the door had become detached at the bottom and was protruding. We used the back doors to get in and out all day and when we arrived home I repaired the panel using self tapping screws. What I hadn't realised was, when I had opened the side door the panel had caught the exterior bumper trim and broken it off. Had I noticed in Exeter I would have found the trim and could have repaired it.

Can you get trim ? The missing piece is only about 5 inches long just behind the door opening and before the wheel arch.

The Motor home show was rubbish as well, hardly any accessory's, o.k. if you wanted a new van !

Hi PB thanks for the link, I can't work out from the wording on the ad whether I need left or right.

Well, I always understood that LH and RH was taken from the driver sitting in the drivers seat.

These look like they are identified as the other way round!

Best to email for clarification.

I think I would check with Peugeot as well............may even be cheaper!!
