Boxer Harmony numbers
Does anybody know how many Boxer based Harmony's were made and if so, any idea what the last build number was ??

Re: Boxer Harmony numbers
I'm not sure there will be any way of telling, especially as auto sleepers decided to start deleting data and re using build no's as i found out when i tried to track down details of mine. my build no is now associated with a ravenna about 8-10 years newer than my harmony :-(

Re: Boxer Harmony numbers
The Harmony has been a very popular build in both Talbot Express and Boxer versions, even allowing for the dreaded steel worm suffered by the Express versions they still scrub up well.
It "may" be possible to get some idea of build numbers but dont count on it as it may be considered company info only
(Peter could you see if info available ?)

BOXER HARMONY NUMBERS
Apparently there were about 300 from 1995 until 2002. The final build number is confidential according to AS.

Re: Boxer Harmony numbers
I've just re-read the AS e-mail and they made more than 300 up to early 2003 peaking between 1995 and 2000.
Apparently getting the exact number would very time consuming.
Maybe there is someone on this forum who has friendly access to AS records and would allowed to trawl through them. But that would open the floodgates to other requests I suppose, but it would be a fascinating exercise.
The reason for not giving out the final build number was that the number was 'confidential', I guess it's to foil any potential fraudsters who might want to pass off a dodgy van. However, if you let them have your build number they will tell you whether it was the last one.
I've also just read the fact sheet on build codes elsewhere on this forum and note there are some logical prefixes but my Harmony is an 'H' which is not listed ? Maybe it stands for High-top as opposed to Harmony ?
I do hope AS are preserving these records for the future, once Alan retires, we've got Baz Wellard in ASOC but I don't know if there is anyone in AS specifically tasked to preserve historic records ?

Harmony numbers
If I wasn't tied up as a carer, I'd volunteer to be their archivist !!
I keep remembering Mike Brewer (Wheeler Dealers) finding the chap who has all the Jensen car records- he got quite emotional !

I have a 2003 Boxer Harmony but I would have no idea where to look for a build No. Can I ask why you are interested in that No.

Re: Boxer Harmony numbers
Hi, tomjoad.
The build number is usually on a sticker inside the glove box and I'm just curious as to how build numbers progressed from my 1998 H402 Harmony.
It might give a clue as to a more precise figure on how many were made as it appears too time consuming for the factory to provide that information.
Idle curiosity.......
