Renault Rimini Tyres
Hi
I drove back to Kent from North Wales yesterday with my newly acquired 1990 Renault trafic rimini.
I am very pleased with the condition and layout of the van and can't wait to get away camping asap.
On the way home yesterday I had a flat tyre. On inspecting the tyre it was quite perished. I went to Kwik fit today but they didn't stock a 175R14C and said it could take a week to order.
Can anyone suggest where to buy tyres this size. Is it an unusual size?
Many thanks

My 1988 Rapport, which is basically the same van, has 185R14C tyres. They look right on the rims so may well be the right size. Don't know if they're easier to get, but might be as I'm pretty sure they're the same size as the Mk3/4/5 SWB Transit. You couldn't change just one mind you...

Thanks for the replies. Unfortunately I didn't get a handbook with the van to be certain of the correct size.
I have googled and found the size i need online but will contact some local fitters tomorrow and see if anyone has them in stock.

I got two 175r14c tyres fitted today. The fitter said it was an unusual size with only a handful of manufacturers. Might be why some have fitted 185 tyres.
