I just use Cif (formerly jif} just a damp cloth and a little Cif and a light rub. Does the trick.

Spray WD40 onto a cloth, black streaks come straight off but kep it away from decals as it dissolves the adhesive. Other than that any car polish will also remove the streaks.

Get yourself some Fenwicks Black Streak Remover. Does a brilliant job with minimum effort.

I bought mine in Boyes but you can buy it in lots of places or Amazon:-

I was using mine earlier tonight...leaves a good shine as well.

Hi.    As Ian said get some Fenwicks Black Streak Remover.    Someone on the site suggested painting the black plastic with linseed oil, which I have done this year.   We do not seem to get as much black streaks as before but of course there are going to be some.   We use the Fenwicks then:allthumbz:  polish the van and it looks great.   We buy our Fenwicks from the local caravan shop, its about £5.99, I know the one on amazon is £8.10 perhaps it is bigger.
