Ceramic Bodywork Sealers anyone?
Wondering whether these are worthwhile on a 15 year old but low mileage van. Does anyone have any views or experience please?

Re: Ceramic Bodywork Sealers anyone?
I had GuardX applied to our previous car on purchase and was very impressed. It lasted for years, made washing the car a breeze and it came up a treat every time. Current car came with another coating which was hopeless so I now use Autoglym ceramic polish which gives a good finish but doesn't last and isn't a patch on GuardX.
Hope that helps.

I also had GuardX applied to my car upon purchase (at 9 months from first registration). I echo RML's comments above.
Guardex supplied a maintenance kit (in a robust bag) containing various items, such as water repellent for windscreens, bird-dropping remover. and a "refresher" [my description - can't recall the official title) whereby to renew the Guardex protection. I've yet to apply that, but it seems easy to do - merely sponge it on the vehicle after it's been washed.
But I think it's an entirely different proposition when talking about Guardex-ing a motorhome. I've no idea if it can be applied to GRP or similar motorhome finishes. I'd really like to have the roof of mine done!

Re: Ceramic Bodywork Sealers anyone?
I had my Coachbuilt done on two occasions as I am unable to wash the van myself I thought this was a good idea but neither coatings were much cop, usually okay in the summer months but drive a while in the winter it comes off the front and rear of the van.
Paintseal was one and the most expensive to their credit they did come back out and redo the front and back but it didn't last long and I just give up, we had another van and tried another much cheaper application but in truth it was much the same result.
Best bet is to wash and polish it about twice a year yourself (I really wish that I could)
