Trooper awning
Hi all
Does anyone know of an after market awning bracket that would fit a t5 trooper.
Or better still does anyone have a used awning for sale.
I cannot bring myself to spend what autosleeper want just for the brackets
Happy camping

Hi
The wind out type is what I am after. I am not sure what the little metal brackets look like but they sure are expensive.

Did someone mention my name
Hi Simon, are you after a Fiamma awning? We got the T45ti to replace our damaged one, our hanging brackets just bolt onto the GRP high top but as you have the Trooper I'm guessing you will have to mount directly to the roof, here is a link to Fiamma which shows the model you need for your T5 Trooper

Those prices are quite high, but we got ours from Unipart leisure (part of the Unipart company) and it was only £300 delivered which was mega cheap, just looked but they are no longer on the site and stating discontinued, they are expensive things to buy but well worth the investment, so much nicer to sit under on summer evenings relaxing :rocknroll:
How much have Auto Sleeper quoted you to supply and fit out of intrest ? (if they fitted it at least you would have peace of mind knowing that its fitted correctly) having said this there are plenty of firms around who fit these, what area are you in?
Will have a look around on the net and see what I can find for you :(Y) or (y):

Re: Trooper awning
Quick look around they all seem to be around £500 :affraid: (if you want to go down to a 2.5m they are cheaper)
These links are about the cheapest I could find but if you search deep you may find a bargain somewhere?

If It's just the brackets you are after, then you can get these seperate
(must admit there seems to be a premium for the complete VW T5 awning kit)
