Why do weather forecasters, or more correctly.  Presenters, seem to have lost the ability. To talk in proper sentences? It's really annoying.
I find myself. Unable to recall anything they have actually said about the weather because I. Am so annoyed at the way. They speak. They also put the wrong inflections on most of. The words. Too.

Sports reporters are annoying too. They seem to start talking, staring at the camera, with a low pitch that gradually gets higher as they get to the point.

Sorry, can't write anymore, the weather forecast had. Just come on

On the other hand, pity the poor souls who had to stand outside a hospital entrance for two days because someone was having a baby!wave

I agree about the TV presenters especially women who seem to get more excited as they go on resulting in a screeching faster dialogue. It is not always presenters fault as sometimes as they are speaking music seems to appear from somewhere so you can hardly hear what they are saying. Why do we need the music?

Aaaaargh!!!  As a person with "noise induced hearing loss" (too much shooting and too many turbines) I regularly complain to ITV and the BBC about the "musak" that is played and subsequently drowns out the narration.tap_fingers tap_fingers

I find it especially annoying on Documentaries where there is absolutely no reason why they have to play music to make it more interesting or to add "atmosphere".shrugg

Thank goodness for Sub-titles!!allthumbz allthumbz  (Which come with their own problems; mainly when they cover up something that is critical to the drama or presentation!)tap_fingers
