Al-Ko AIRTOP bolts fitted upside down
Who is responsible for the repair to our Airtop system. Thanks to Anthony (one of the forum members) we had our motorhome checked over, and found that the suspension bags are being damaged by bolts that have been put on incorrectly.
We have asked Marquis who we recently purchased the motorhome from whether it is Auto-Sleeper, or Peugeot, but have not yet had a reply. Does anyone know who it is fits them, as we are going to have to get them sorted out under warranty. Also wondered if anyone else has had a problem.

Re: Al-Ko AIRTOP bolts fitted upside down
Antony uploaded pictures of the airtop bolts being wrongly mounted way, way back in Jan 2012.
I suggest everyone with this system fitted has a look here;

and then underneath their van.

If you bought your van from Marquis then it's with Marquis that you have your contract with. Assuming its under warranty, (is it a new van by the way?) then Marquis must put I right. You can insist that the work is carried out at the A/S service Centre if you wish.
