TV mounting options
Hi there
We have a flat screen TV which we use free standing at present in our Trident. We have looked at mountable brackets and are undecided what type to get. I just thought I would ask what other people do with their TVs.
Any info would be appreciated - :triffic:

Hi Waves
I haven't installed a TV yet on our Trident but have looked into - I was looking at a mounting bracket like this from Tescos
http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.208-7351.aspx
and fitting it high up on the right hand side of the over head cupboard door. Then you could hide all the wires inside the cupboard

Nice looking bracket will have to have a closer look and see about hiding the wires in the cupboard - thanks Stevo for your input

Re: TV mounting options
On the Tridents quite a few people have made a table that fits on the dash, cant remember how they were supported at the front but seemed a good idea when I have seen them with TVs happily sitting there. Rules out big 19/20" jobs obviously.
Think carefully before or where you are fitting wall brackets - we had one fitted in the luton from new and seldom use it in an evening cos you have to look up, which is uncomfortable.
Tip - if you go on a rally (particulary an ASOC one where they will be a few VW's) walk round and nosey what others have done
