Topaz problems with fridge

Having problems on inaugeral outing of my Topaz. When trying to put the fridge on mains power was tripping power back to main box (not good for other campers!) it wont start on gas either. Does anybody have any tips to what the problem is or is it a dealer job??

You say you are tripping the campsite supply, not the fridge circuit breaker or the main van circuit breaker. What is the site breaker rated at? If its 6 amps or more then I would look first at you hook up lead and then check that all other mains equipment (battery charger etc) is working properly before thinking of looking at the fridge.

For gas operation, check that all the gas taps at regulator and on distribution manifold are turned on and that other gas appliances work. Check the 12v from the leisure battery is getting to the fridge to operate the igniter.
