Wiltshire - Bathroom Window
Our Wiltshire has a clear bathroom window and no skylight in the bathroom so when in a public area you have to close the blind and turn on the light, is this right?
Please can other Wiltshire / Wiltshire Duo / Burford / Burford Duo owners confirm what type of windows they have as I’m being told they are all clear and;
Could I have peoples' general thoughts on a clear window in the bathroom?
All our previous motorhomes have had opaque windows in the bathrooms and stupidly, it appears, we made the assumption that the new motorhome would also be opaque.
Thank you in anticipation of your feedback.
Kind regards
Charles

According to the specification, the Wiltshire has in the bathroom ''roof vent with flyscreen''. No mention of the windows though.

I must say, it seems a bit of a backward move to me, I feel ANY bathroom/toilet window should be opaque, also, how long will the blind last if it has to be operated upon every visit.

Looking at the member list of the forum there are two Wiltshire owners and two Burford owners who can be contacted by e-mail (rather than pm); why don't you try contacting them?
I've been in both the Burford and Burford Duo a few times as recently as Tuesday last and would have noticed a clear window in the bathroom BUT the blinds may have been closed!
The Wiltshire handbook mentions a concertina blind in the bathroom whereas the usual blind with the opaque windows is a waterproof roller blind - what have you got?
I am very interested in your findings. Could you post a photo of your window/blind installation?

Re: Wiltshire - Bathroom Window
Hi Peter,
Van stored about 5 miles away from home and going away (not in the van) this weekend but will photo when next with Molly and post.
Tried PMing the other owners but I’ve not posted enough, where can I get there e-mail addresses from?
One of the other owners appears to be within 10 miles of me so could compare.
The window is behind the heads and at the opposite end of the bathroom from the shower so I’m guessing that's why it’s not a waterproof item.
Kind regards
Charles

Hi Charles
I don't know if you have to 'qualify' to access it but in the top line that always displays there is a link to Memberlist. I sorted it by van type then clicked to the relevant owners, then their contact tab and found the ability to generate and e-mail rather than a pm.
I'll be quiet at the back end of next week as we are attending the ASOC National Rally at Newark.
