Sussex Duo ( Peugeot ) Radio
Marquis have seen it fit not to have a USB port for my IPOD . Normally can plug into a socket in the centre glove compartment, but in this case, not there! I usually have the music whilst driving and controlled through the steering wheel buttons. Has anyone had the same problem, and is there a fix to connect a cable from the radio to a suitable plug receptical?
Thanks.
Thanks.

peugeot radio
Hi, I have a similar problem with my 2011 Dorset. Don't think this is a Marquis fault. Your radio sounds like the std fit Peugeot model which did not have the usb connection in the glove box. Beware it also switches off after 20 mins when the ign is off. This is really annoying and no-one seems to know whether the switch off command is in the radio circuitry or the ems. Good luck - the sussex is a nice van.

I thought that other members of this forum had (in another thread) estabished that the feature is built into the radio, and that the 20 mins could be changed, up to a max of 180 mins. Or are we talking about a different base vehicle here?

Thanks for that. Will still investigate. My last MH was a Swift Bolero, and I had the same problem, after 20 minutes, switch off . As I understood, the circuitry in the van removed power. Or so I was told!!!!

20 minutes radio cut off
Many thanks to mccormw for the advice on the radio. We now have 3 hours uninterrupted listening. The instructions in the thread were spot on and the advice has saved me a lot of money. I was happy with the existing radio but annoyed at not being able to listen the radio or listen to a cd when parked up on site without the radio cutting out every 20 mins . I seriously considered changing the radio with all the expense that would have involved. These simple instructions should be given much greater prominence in my view and it just baffles me why Autosleepers seem incapable of making such a simple change during the manufacturing process.

You are welcome Corny but the guy you should thank is the guy who posted the original article - I show the link in my post.
I am just pleased that
(a) It has sorted out my radio, and
(b) Others seem to be happy too.

Ok. I have tried all suggestions from moving from 20 to 180 minutes, but cannot get the campervan mode to display. Gone through the menu, but the only display is 20 minutes or zero. Anyone come across this problem, or is it that this Peugot fitted radio does not have this facility.
Any suggestions would be appreciated

Just a comment about " changing the radio.
On later models like yours the radio is an integral part of the vehicles ECU so if to change the radio it has to be compatible and also has to be re programmed to run in your vehicle. It also connects other things, mileage trip. ice warning etc.
On good thing about my old Winnie is that it had a Sony radio with a socket for my Ipod and the radio stays on till the battery is flat lol
Best regards, Mike

Tengah I think it will only work in Euro V cabs and not the earlier cabs. The earlier cabs I don't think have the 'curvy radio'.
I found it tricky to get right but a couple of points:
(1) When you turn the radio on you have to hit the keys quickly - don't 'ang about!
(2) Hit the 2 key first very quickly followed by the FM AS key.
Does the display show anything different when you tried this?
